Cement is widely used in road construction industry, building industry, water conservancy project, and defense industry and so on. Cement industry is a large industrial department in many countries. Limestone is widely distributed in Pakistan, gypsum, coal is also widely distributed in many province in Pakistan.
Cement production process
Cement production plant contains three parts:
First: coal crusher and coal mill plant;
Second: limestone (clay, alumina) crusher, and milling machine;
Third: gypsum crusher and gypsum mill.
Coal crusher and coal mill
Coal powder is the major heat source in the cement rotary kiln for the cement production line. In order to get the coal powder small enough, coal crusher and coal mill is needed. After the run-of-mine coal is transported to the cement plant, primary coal crusher will crush the large coal ores into smaller ones, and then secondary coal crusher will crush the coal particles down to 10 mm. After the crushing process, coal mill will grind the coal into coal powder less than 0.4 mm which can be burned completely.
Limestone ore crusher and limestone grinding mill
Limestone is the major raw materials to produce limestone. The run-of-mine limestone is of large particle size and hard texture, so limestone crusher and limestone grinding mill is important equipment.
Before the rotary kiln heating process, it is raw material crushing and grinding stage. In this process, limestone will be crushed by primary crusher, secondary crusher, even tertiary crusher, and will be grinded by vertical mill, ball mill etc. When the limestone powder meets the required size, it will be burned in rotary kiln. So cement clinker is produced. Before the cement clinker is transported to stockpiles, it will be mixed with additive materials such like gypsum powder, clay powder and so on.
Then the cement mill will grind the mixed materials into micro powders, so the whole cement production process is finished.
